In an unsurprising move by the fashion world, spring/summer 2013 is looking back to the 60s. It is a trend that’s not quite as revolutionary as the decade, but designers just can’t seem to help themselves. In fact, it’s well-covered territory, but luckily we’ve been seeing it through many lenses these past few weeks, especially in Milan. From The Factory and pop art (Marc Jacobs, Prada), to futuristic mod (Eudon Choi and Moschino), to straight up hippie (Moschino Cheap & Chic), this decade has no shortage of reference points. We just hope that the bouffant will stay in the past.
