Japan may have made headlines in Milan with Prada, but we can’t help but notice that the trend has been stomping the runways of London and New York as well. Case in point: florals inspired by Japanese wallpaper at Gucci, origami-like folds at Christopher Kane, kimono-inspired construction at Etro, while Araks touched on Japan’s isolation period.
