Mira Duma might be the posterchild for Russian street style. She has a seemingly endless wardrobe of looks that covers every trend, and rotates between a small black Chanel Boy bag or a comparably sized Hermes shoulder bag. The daughter of a steel magnate, Duma works as a fashion journalist, the Editor-at-Large for POP magazine and the founder of Büro 24/7: a news website that updates–you guessed it!–twenty four hours a day, seven days a week with fashion, art, and culture news. She also gives back–she founded the charity foundation Peace Planet.
In her own words:
Favorite Designers: Chanel, Ralph Lauren, Vika Gazinskaya, Ulyana Sergeenko, Marni, Ostwald Helgason, Chloe and so, so, so many more.
Style Icons: Tilda Swinton, Jacqueline Kennedy, Grace Kelly, Chloe Sevigny and many more.
Her Personal Style: Experimental. Today I might be wearing vintage Levi’s jean shorts with a white h&m t-shirt, tomorrow it will be a Chanel tweed jacket, and after tomorrow crazy prints by Mary Katrantzou or a classical suit by Bottega Venetta. I’m working with fashion every single day, I’m trying it on, I’m experimenting with it.
