Azealia Banks Vows to Boycott Dolce & Gabbana, Says Designers Need a 'Swift Kick in the Mouth'

Remember those "Moorish" inspired earrings from Dolce & Gabbana spring 2013 collection? You know, the ones that kicked off an internet shit storm last month after critics called the imagery racist? Well, Azealia Banks is apparently just finding out about them--and she is none too pleased.

On Friday the songstress tweeted her outrage with a rant that began with: "Definitely boycotting Dolce & Gabanna [sic]."

She continued:

Whoever designed that racist ass Dolce and Gabanna [sic] collection needs a swift kick in the mouth and a big dick up the ass...I really hate when people do corny, racist things then try to justify it as "art."...It's all just really unnecessary. the clothes in the collection were fine without all the "black mammie" imagery.

Banks may be a little late to the party--but she's more than making up for it with her anger. While the singer is a self-professed fashion fan, who has really embraced the fashion industry (and vice versa), needless to say she won't be showing up front row at Dolce & Gabbana any time soon.

Do you agree with Banks?
