Cathy Horyn Calls Hedi Slimane Feud 'Silly Nonsense'

If Hedi Slimane's open letter to Cathy Horyn, in which he called her a "schoolyard bully" and promised she would never get a seat at a Saint Laurent show, was meant to enrage or insult the critic--well, it's not working.

If Hedi Slimane's open letter to Cathy Horyn, in which he called her a "schoolyard bully" and promised she would never get a seat at a Saint Laurent show, was meant to enrage or insult the critic--well, it's not working.

Speaking to WWD, Horyn said of the missive and feud: "It’s just silly nonsense to me." And on that score, we'd have to agree with her.

And while Horyn declined to comment on the hub-bub when we saw her at the Louis Vuitton show in Paris, she made it clear she felt she was just doing her job. Considering she is, after all, a fashion critic, and therefore employed to critique designers, it's hard to fault her on that note either.

Is it just us or is this "feud" starting to seem a little one sided?
