Editor's Pick: Nora's Pretty Plum Blush

It's only October, and already my skin has reverted back to a sad alabaster state. So to liven up my ghostly visage (and stay in tune with this season's ama-jor oxblood trend!), I headed to the drugstore looking for a deep berry blush that would blend, baby, blend. It's only October, and already my skin has reverted back to a sad, translucent, alabaster state. So to liven up my ghostly visage (and stay in tune with this season's ama-jor oxblood trend!), I headed to the drugstore looking for a deep berry blush that would blend, baby, blend. I must've had luck on my side that day, because right there in that fluorescent-lit aisle, I found the perfect compact: Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Plum Wine!

Typically, I stay away from non-powder blushes--but I took a leap of faith on this one. Don't let the deep hue scare you--the lightweight color is totally sheer once applied. It melts seamlessly into my skin, and washes off my fingers (ie the applicator brushes you'll never lose!) with simple soap and water. And because it's a cream, my cheeks stay rosy all day long. Just a few blending strokes take me from pasty to pretty in an instant, like magic! Like... a dream! A Dream... Bouncy Blush! (Ok, ok, I'll stop.)
