Kate, Naomi, Cindy, Linda – these are just some of the illustrious names from the Golden Age of the Supermodel. Perhaps we glorify this period too much, but really, what could be more fun than models taking over the pop culture scene? We’ve seen glimmers of re-emergence, from magazine covers to runway appearances, but we’d love to see a full-fledged comeback. What the fashion world is missing right now is models with attitude who date rockstars and won’t get out of bed for less than $10,000. We could probably skip Fashion Cafe, but let’s bring back smiling on the runway! Today’s models could learn a thing or two.
