Karl Lagerfeld and His Fans

Somewhere in the 80s, Karl stopped his body building obsession and got a little softer around the edges. Before he was known for his striking powdered white hair and slim cut suits, Karl had a different signature: his fans. Were they a little silly? Absolutely. Do we miss seeing him take a turn down the runway clutching a fan, or posing with it held coquettishly to his face? Uh, duh.
