In what is surely the fulfillment of every designer's ultimate fashion week nightmare, Hakaan has had to cancel its Spring 2013 show because couriers somehow lost the entire collection, Vogue UK is reporting.

Hakkan was scheduled to show tomorrow at 1:30pm in Paris. A spokesperson from Karla Otto, Hakaan's PR, confirmed the story to Vogue UK, though they did not divulge how or why the collection went missing.

On that note: How does one lose an entire multiple-piece collection? Was there foul play involved or was it merely a mistake? According to Vogue UK, the fashion house is currently working to recreate the collection to show to fashion press at a later date. So, they obviously aren't too hopeful about ever getting the collection back, which seems to rule out the possibility it was merely misplaced. So what, then, could have happened?

Whatever the case, our hearts go out to the entire Hakaan team. We've reached out to Karla Otto for comment and are waiting to hear back.
