Liberty Ross Opens Up About Tough Life Lessons and Posing as One of Ozzy Osbourne's Brides

We don't know too much about Liberty Ross, but she opened up in the latest installment of Alexander Wang's "Confessionals" series about learning life lessons "when things seem really bad" and "mov[ing] forward gracefully." Also? Her dad had a roller disco in LA in the 80s and she once posed as a bride on the cover of one of Ozzy Osbourne's albums.

Alexander Wang loves to cast buzzy models in his shows, and for his spring 2013 runway he snagged 34-year-old Liberty Ross. Ross is, of course, the wife of disgraced director Rupert Sanders (you know, the guy who famously had an affair with Kristen Stewart). Sort of a sucky way to reinvigorate your career, but Ross had done it with aplomb.

Other things we learned about Ross, in her own words:

• On being nervous before hitting the runway: "I love facing my fear. I'm quite a nervous person."

• On being happy: "I have a really good balance. I'm very happy with my life. I'm lucky. I have good people. I have two amazing children."

• On moving forward: "I believe we're all on journeys and we're all given lessons at certain ties in our life...sometimes when things seem really bad you have to be able to see the good and learn from it. And move forward as graciously as possible."

• On beginnings and endings: [This year was] "the end of some things and the beginning of something else. Beginnings and ending are always really exciting."

No matter how things in her personal life turn out, we have no doubt that Ross will continue to handle it all with class.
