Sally Singer is going back to her old stomping grounds: Vogue.
After leaving her post as editor in chief at T Magazine over a month ago, Singer has just been named creative director of digital at Vogue–and she starts work in just a week and a half, WWD is reporting.
The position is one that didn’t exist until now, and presumably Vogue created it with Singer in mind. At her new post, Singer will work closely with Caroline Palmer, the editor of Vogue.com, and will report to Anna Wintour.
While starting a new job is always nerve-racking–especially when it’s as big a position as this one–the transition will no doubt be made easier for Singer thanks to her familiarity with the magazine, where she was fashion/features news director up until two years ago, when she left for T. Talk about coming full circle!
