It’s getting cold out there. Really cold. So cold that the only thing I want to wear is this old grey sweatshirt hoodie I have, which really isn’t acceptable for public viewing. So I had to find an alternative.

Over the weekend I picked up this cashmere hoodie, which I found while browsing at Club Monaco in my neighborhood–I haven’t taken it off since. It’s really big, and almost poncho-like without screaming, “Hey, look at my poncho!”

And full disclosure: It’s a little pricey, but I got 20% off because there were two small holes in the shoulder. (Please–do not sabotage any of the merch at Club Monaco.) Anyway, I anticipate that it will get a record amount of uses this season, bringing the cost per wear down to mere pennies.
