Fashion E-Commerce C+L Is Looking For Social Media, Graphic Design, Web Development & Styling Interns In NYC or Virtual!



C+L is an NYC based fashion e-commerce launching in the Spring of 2013. C+L will carry fashion-forward women’s clothing and accessories catering to young women who seek high-style at a low-price.

We are seeking passionate and creative interns to join our team. Interns will gain valuable hands- on experience in the world of fashion and e-commerce and will work directly with our Creative Director & Founder.

EDITORIAL//SOCIAL MEDIA:
Responsibilities
• Write compelling fashion editorial copy for all site platforms that encourages customer engagement
• Write and edit product descriptions
• Participate in internal brainstorms to conceptualize upcoming content on site, blog, social media and newsletter
• Manage Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr and Pinterest accounts

Requirements
• Superior WRITTEN and communication skills are a must (English/journalism majors welcomed)
• Familiar and passionate about social media
• A strong knowledge base relating to fashion trends, designers, magazines, blogs, websites

GRAPHIC DESIGNER:
Responsibilities
• Design, layout and execution of front page, blog, landing pages, social media, marketing projects etc.
• Weekly design of web banners, newsletter and homepage slideshows
• Design of monthly lookbooks

Requirements
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
• Fashion and ecommerce sensibility

Major Plus:
• Video editing
• Photo retouching and color correcting

WEB DEVELOPER:
Responsibilities
• Frontend/Backend development of site designs

Requirements
• Knowledge of HTML / HTML5, CSS / CSS3, WordPress, JavaScript and Photoshop
• Fashion and ecommerce sensibility

STYLING:
Responsibilities
• Partner with Creative Director to develop, plan, and execute editorial shoots
• Styling Photo Shoots: styling models, steaming, still styling, maintaining records of products shot etc.

Requirements
• EXCELLENT eye for outfitting and styling
• A strong understanding of current runway trends and ability to translate them into exciting stylized looks for our customers

*We need interns who can commit 2-5 days a week in our NYC office. This can also be a VIRTUAL position for the right candidate. Interns are needed starting January-May 2013*
