Chicago: O’Hare International Airport:

There’s not a ton of awesome shopping at O’Hare (surprising, for such a big hub), but we picked out the absolute must-dos.

Barbara’s Bookstore: It’s not just another airport bookstore. Barbara’s is a beloved indie Chicagoland bookshop with several locations in the area. Support local merchants!

Vosges: Sure, a KitKat bar is good on a flight, but wouldn’t you rather have some exotic dark chocolate truffles? Perfect for grabbing last-minute gifts, too.

Field Museum Store: Chicago has many amazing museums, and this is a fave. Especially good for artisanal jewelry and gifts.

Garrett Popcorn: The lines you see winding down the street outside of Garrett Popcorn in Chicago are there for a legit reason–the popcorn is completely addictive. Putting an outpost in O’Hare was the most brilliant idea they ever had. We recommend the Chicago Mix, a cheese/caramel combo. Seriously. It’s unbelievable.
