This weekend, 21 couture-clad teenagers took over the Hotel de Crillon in Paris like it was an episode of Gossip Girl (or The Hills, remember that episode?).
In fact, it was the 20th Bal de Debutantes, an opportunity for a few of the world's most privileged and beautiful young ladies to dress up in gowns made by the French couture houses and shoes by Christian Louboutin (who was in attendance), have their hair and makeup done, and maybe share a dance with their famous fathers--which this year included Sly Stallone and Graydon Carter.
Past Crillon debs include Lydia and Amanda Hearst, Vanessa and Victoria Traina, and Dree Hemingway, which means many of this year's ladies are likely well on their way to becoming Vogue regulars and fashion it girls.
So, click through for a primer on who these girls are and what they wore and for more photos head over to Vogue Italia.
