Marc Jacobs Tells TMZ About His Destroyed West Village Apartment

TMZ turned its running camera men on Marc Jacobs this past weekend while he was walking his dog on the Upper East Side (where he's relocated post-Sandy and is rumored to be staying at The Mark Hotel). "I had to move up here, it's not so bad," he said, continuing, "My house is flooded, I have to find another place to live."

Jacobs hadn't even lived there that long--he reportedly moved to a West Village townhouse just last year after selling a three-bedroom Chelsea penthouse.

It's an awful situation, but, you know, he's also Marc Jacobs. He has an apartment in Paris. He'll be okay.
