TMZ turned its running camera men on Marc Jacobs this past weekend while he was walking his dog on the Upper East Side (where he’s relocated post-Sandy and is rumored to be staying at The Mark Hotel).

“I had to move up here, it’s not so bad,” he said, continuing, “My house is flooded, I have to find another place to live.”

Jacobs hadn’t even lived there that long–he reportedly moved to a West Village townhouse just last year after selling a three-bedroom Chelsea penthouse.

It’s an awful situation, but, you know, he’s also Marc Jacobs. He has an apartment in Paris. He’ll be okay.
