Marie Claire‘s newly-appointed EIC Anne Fulenwider continues to shake things up at the fashion glossy.
After seeing a handful of her editors get poached by Cosmopolitan–and then doing a little poaching herself–Fulenwider has made another change to Marie Claire‘s masthead. And this time, it’s at the very top.
According to this tweet from Abby Gardner, Cosmo‘s current site director, and Marie Claire‘s former site director, Nina Garcia has been promoted to Creative Director of Marie Claire.
Garner wrote, “Congrats @NinaGarcia, now Creative Director of @MarieClaire!”
While the appointment is certainly news, we can’t say we’re surprised. Garcia is the natural choice to succeed Suzanne Sykes, who left Marie Claire in September to be Creative Director of Elle UK.
Now we wonder who will take on Garcia’s former title of Fashion Director at MC. Who are your best guesses?
