Today in news to keep those Christopher Kane/Balenciaga rumors alive: WWD is reporting that, according to sources, “PPR has held discussions with Christopher Kane about financial backing for the fledgling firm.”

Neither PPR nor Kane would comment on the report. But WWD is not often wrong about these kinds of things.

And since PPR owns Balenciaga, we’re sure this has nothing to do with those rumors that Kane would succeed Nicolas Ghesquière there…
