Tyra Banks to Reprise Her Role as Eve in Life Size Sequel (Et Tu, Lindsay Lohan?)

We wish we were making this up, but no, this is, as far as we can tell, factual information. Variety reports that Tyra Banks will star in and executive produce a sequel to 2000 made-for-TV movie Life Size, in which she starred alongside a post-Parent Trap/pre-Liz & Dick Lindsay Lohan. The sequel will air on Disney Channel. Banks also confirmed the news on Twitter in her own special way. If you're not familiar with Life Size, then you must have had better taste in television programming than I did in the early aughts. A quick synopsis, since you are obviously dying to know what this cinematic masterpiece is all about:

What happens is that Lindsay Lohan's character's mom dies and she tries to bring her back by doing voo-doo magic to a black doll called Eve. This results in the doll, played by Tyra Banks, magically coming to life. Throughout the film, Eve learns how to be a human, has a dress-up montage at the mall; Lindsay Lohan's dad falls in love with her, and Linds probably learns some sort of life lesson. The most memorable part of the film, though, is Eve's song. Yes, she has a song, which Tyra sings and it goes something like, "Shine bright, shine far, don't be shy, be a star!" over and over again. You can, and should, watch a video of her singing it below (and for a hilarious and in-depth recap of the entire movie, go here).

As I'm sure you could gauge from my synopsis, Life Size was a brilliant movie that left everyone begging for more and that definitely, without a doubt, needs a sequel 13 years later. Thank you, Tyra.

Banks is also working on an autobiographical sitcom called Fivehead.
