“I’m thankful for the fact that fashion has never been more crazy, chaotic, diverse, insane, incomprehensible and fascinating than it is now. It could have gone either way and it just got bigger and more crazy and more fun and more intriguing and more fabulous.”
Fashionista: Is there anything in your closet you’re particularly grateful for?
SD: “I have some really great Stephen Sprouse leggings which I used to wear to aerobics classes in the early ’80s.”
Fashionista: Will they make an appearance again?
SD: “Actually my legs are pretty good, so I could. Time has not been kind to my lycra though.”
