Anna Wintour’s Political Career Gets Going
Wintour has been an avid Obama supporter from the very beginning–and this year she certainly put her money where her mouth is (or got donors to, anyways). She officially became one of Obama’s top bundlers by throwing fundraiser dinners and helping to organize the Runway to Win campaign which raked in a whopping $40 million. Once Obama was elected back into office, people began speculating (some very loudly) if Wintour’s efforts might earn her a position as ambassador to the UK or France.
