For the first two seasons, the show was (theoretically) about kids in private school with a uniform, but hey, that’s just detail. Serena played fast and loose with the dress code at Constance, and continued the trend even as she toured Yale, met with the dean of admissions/sabotaged Blair, and went to classes at Columbia.
