Ainsley NY is looking for interns in the following departments: design, sales, marketing/social media & digital media. Our fast-growing, contemporary company has been featured in publications worldwide and worn by celebrities like Amanda Seyfried, Emily Blunt, Rihanna & Taylor Swift.

Ideal Candidates will have:
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
• Previous internship experience in fashion (or a related field)
• Motivation, drive, and passion for fashion and/or technology
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Design Interns Responsibilities include:
• Sourcing trims and fabrications
• Dip dying and handwork on garments
• Flat sketching and cadwork
• Organizing design studio
• Assist with design
• Assist with fabric sourcing
• Measuring garments

Marketing/Sales/ Merchandising Interns:
• Organizing line letters
• Preparing for development meetings.
• Organizing and filing press clippings
• Assisting in trade shows and photo shoots
• Maintaining media lists
• Assisting the sales team in organizing sample collections and meetings
• Maintaining the showroom
• Assisting with sample requests for buyers and editors

Social Media/Digital Media Interns:
• Updating the brands’ social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, etc.)
• Creating e-mail and web blasts
• Writing copy for the website and blog
• Researching up-and-coming trends in technology

Must be available 2-3 days a week, the internship is located in New York.
