Tom Ford Made His Bondage Boots Vegan Friendly Just for Anne Hathaway

For the New York premiere of Les Miserables, Anne Hathaway went more catwoman than Fantine on the red carpet. She wore a head-to-toe look from Tom Ford's spring 2013 collection, dominatrix boots included. Only they weren't the exact same boots.

Only they weren't the exact same boots. See, Hathaway is vegan, and wearing those leather boots would go against her principles. Lucky for her, she's a celebrity doing press for the most anticipated movie of the holiday season, so, according to The Cut, Tom Ford whipped up a custom pair for her that didn't involve hurting animals.

She finished off the look with classic red lips (a blend of three Chanel lipsticks if you're wondering) and her pixie slicked back (that's true hair-spiration for us short-haired gals).

Unfortunately, she also hit the red carpet sans-panties, which resulted in a 2007-style flashing incident. Oops!
