This week's rumors that Anna Wintour is in the running to become America's next top UK ambassador made it all the way to the daily White House press briefing yesterday.

Towards the end of the briefing, ABC's Jake Tapper asked "What qualities does the president look for when he's gonna pick an ambassador...especially to an important ally like France or the U.K.?"

Following snickers from other reporters who knew just what Tapper was getting at, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said he anticipated the question, and that he was "not going to engage in speculation about personel announcements," but that the President looks for "talent, wisdom and character in all his appointees."

Tapper then asked, "Is it important for a diplomat to be diplomatic?...Even in their personal lives or pop culture?"

Carney sort of entertained that question before moving onto the next, which was: "Has the president seen The Devil Wears Prada?"

Good one! Obama would probably change his tune about Wintour if he saw how she was depicted in a movie, even if she did raise tons of money for his campaign. Watch this all unfold below. White House press briefings look kind of fun.
