Erin Fetherston, a New York based women’s wear designer is looking for design interns.

Design intern duties include:
• Assist Design in the conception and execution of each current season’s collection
• Assist in the preparation of style sheets and technical packages
• Pick up and hand deliver samples and materials to local contractors
• Assist in daily communication between commercial showroom, P.R. team, and EF studio
• Work with Design to follow development of styles with outside contractors
• Sketch flats for design sheets and sales book on Photoshop and Illustrator
• Create print and embroidery artwork in Illustrator and Photoshop
• Help construct design and mood boards and other relevant presentations
• Research necessary materials through local vendors and retailers
• Be prepared and willing to take on a variety of different tasks daily

Ideal Candidate should have:
• Knowledge of basic design principles
• Previous experience
• A very professional demeanor
