Erin Fetherston: I think this may have been my uncle dressed in a Santa outfit, visiting us on Christmas Eve.
What are you wearing?
I think I used to consider this my ‘Heidi’ dress. I had dresses that I attributed to each of my favorite storybook heroines; there was an ‘Alice’ dress, a ‘Dorothy’ dress, and so on.
What was the most memorable gift you’ve ever received?
My parents built me a Victorian doll house when I was four years old. It was amazing and I played with it for years, adding to the furnishings and wardrobes over time.
Tell us about the worst gift you’ve ever received.
I’m not a big fan of the ‘fruitcake’ gift basket.
What’s the most memorable gift you’ve ever been given?
My boyfriend gave me a vintage Cartier watch last year. That was really special.
Ever been kissed under the mistletoe?
I never ‘mistletoe’ and tell.
And what’s that one gift that keeps on giving?
Human kindness.
