Erin Beatty: This is me at nearly two years old, at my grandmother’s house the night before Christmas.

What are you wearing?
Apparently a Christmas dress and my Buster Browns.

What was the most memorable gift you’ve ever received?
Certainly not my best gift, but most memorable was this microphone toy in the ’80s called the Star Stage. It was like a karaoke machine that didn’t play music, but did have weird lights that were meant to look like spotlights. I remember it mainly because it was given to me broken, with a note from Rudolph blaming Dancer.

What’s the most memorable gift you’ve ever given?
I once asked jewelry designer Lizzie Fortunato if she would make my sister a personalized necklace, which she did. It was amazing – and Piper loved it.

Ever been kissed under the mistletoe?
No!

And what’s that one gift that keeps on giving?
I don’t know, maybe a puppy.
