Heidi Klum cancelled her annual over-the-top Halloween bash this year in the wake of Hurricane Sandy--but clearly she couldn't let that amazing Cleopatra costume go to waste. So, as promised, she held the make-up (Holi-ween?) party this weekend, which was repurposed to benefit the American Red Cross.
"When Sandy hit I was like, 'I cannot do a Halloween Party. I can't have fun when so many people's lives have been destroyed,'" Klum told US Weekly.
But they certainly had fun last night. While the guest list was not quite as A-list as in years past, we were happy to see that attendees still took their costumes very seriously. Klum took her Cleopatra costume to the next level by bedazzling her face with hundreds of crystals. Jay Manuel was creepily unrecognizable with demonic facial prosthetics.
And tons of guests took advantage of the holiday season by opting for Christmas-themed costumes (Heidi's date this year was Santa). Also we're happy to report that the "slutty Halloween" mentality was still alive and well--sexy Santa's helpers were everywhere.
