There may have been a ton of celebrities at yesterday’s Kennedy Center Honors, which recognized seven individuals–Dustin Hoffman and David Letterman, among them–for their lifetime contributions to American culture… but there was only one First Lady. And boy, did she look the part.

Dressed in a gold and sequined Michael Kors number, Michelle Obama couldn’t help but steal the spotlight at last night’s awards.

Michelle must be on some kind of a streak because she also wore a gold Michael Kors skirt and short-sleeve shirt combination at a recent White House event, doing craft activities with military children. And, if you’ll recall, she chose to wear a repeat Michael Kors frock on her husband’s re-election night. Will Kors be Michelle’s go-to designer of the holiday season? When she wears him this well, we can only hope.
