Mice Are Twice as Nice

Marc Jacobs has always been contrarian. While the rest of the fashion industry has been gaga for cats, his mainstay has always been mice, specifically these mice flats, now in cozy, fleece-lined slipper form. Pair them with Burdick’s famed chocolate mice, filled with an orange or cinnamon dark chocolate interior. At my old company, these were such a popular corporate holiday gift that I regularly spied male partners eschewing diets (and possibly dignity) to sneak a few of these dainty desserts post-work lunch. Nothing humanizes a partner more than watching him delicately nibble on a chocolate mouse’s head.
