Crackle and Pop(corn)
Lush is like the Willy Wonka of beauty. If you dream it, they can create it. This edible popcorn lip scrub is a particular favorite of mine. You always read about (mostly on Pinterest) how you can supposedly create a DIY exfoliant made out of fill-in-the-blank oil and coarse sugar.
Lush offers a far tastier (and less sketchy) option, with fine granules that you scrub on your lips and then lick off. The sweet/salty taste is uncannily like kettle corn and almost a little too yummy–as in you might want to sprinkle this as ice cream topping. The exfoliating grains are so fine that they don’t irritate even the most exacerbated of winter-chapped lips. You’ll hardly need something else tasty with this lip scrub (unless you logically frown upon eating a beauty product), but if you insist, I suggest trying Pipsnacks. A hull-less popcorn that is both crunchy and soft, they come in flavors like rosemary and kettle. And because it’s hull-less, a bag is filled with 100% full, popped corn, with none of kernel shells you usually find in the bottom dregs of other bags.
Lush Popcorn Lip Scrub, $8.95
Pipsnacks Popcorn, $36-$75 depending on size
