Louboutin vs. YSL vs. the color red
Another drawn out trademark case finally ended this year between Christian Louboutin and YSL over the old red sole. Truth be told, the whole court battle was pretty boring compared to Gucci vs. Guess. Ultimately, the court ruled that YSL could keep its red-soled shoe so long as the entire shoe was red and in all other cases the red-sole belongs solely to Louboutin. Everyone wins!
