The Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 2013 Campaign Includes a Toilet

Leave it to Marc Jacobs to make a grungy toilet look really cool.

Yes, Juergen Teller shot the spring 2013 campaign (which we saw via Fashion Copious) for Marc by Marc Jacobs in a bathroom–a very cramped, graffiti’ed up bathroom. The model makes a wise decision to not touch the floor, instead wedging himself in the stall sideways. We hope they offered him a generous supply of hand sanitizer after the shoot.

All kidding aside, Marc and Juergen ran with the colorful, off-kilter vibe of the spring 2013 Marc by Marc collection and took it up a notch by shooting in areas that were dingy, covered in graffiti, yet also somehow weirdly cheery.

And in case you weren’t convinced that head scarves are a viable option for accessorizing, we think the girl, at right, will convince you otherwise.

We like Marc’s gritty vision of spring. What do you think?
