Emil Congdon’s leather bags have sat on the shelves of stores like J. Crew (for whom they collaborated with fellow Nashville brand Imogene & Willie) and Barneys. Until recently, Congdon handmade everything himself in his garage. Now, everything is made in a workshop in Nashville, with leather sourced from Chicago and waxed canvas from New Jersey, and an unparalleled devotion to craft and attention to detail. The goal is to create a classic, sturdy product you’ll own and wear forever.
