Editor's Pick: Nora's Lovely Little Side Table

As cliche as it may be for a 20-something Williamsburgian to admit, I really, really love Urban Outfitters' home furnishings. For the past few weeks I've actually gone to bed every night just hoping I'll awake the next morning to find the new-season online catalogue--full of masterfully decorated hipster interiors, recreated found furniture, and mass-produced quilts and wall hangings--in my inbox. And if you think I'm being funny, you don't know me very well.

That said, I initially bought this "Flourish Storage Side Table" to store my out-of-control magazine collection--throwing them away just seems like relinquishing history, no? It fit the bill perfectly, and was so, so pretty. Eventually, it evolved into my pet-care station, housing gerbil feed and fresh water fish fungal medications. Regardless of what that underneath storage bin is holding, it's always been ideal for that late-night cup o' cranberry juice. Yes, just like a fine wine or Vermont cheddar, my pretty little side table seemed to only improve with age.

I loved her (it's totally a she) so much, in fact, that I decided to purchase another one for my minuscule, devoid-of-counters bathroom--which I lovingly refer to as the "Captain's Quarters." There, Flourish Storage Side Table no. 2 holds my makeup, brushes, hair dryer, and flat iron. One day, when my bathroom is large enough to towel off post-shower without having the door open, she'll join her twinny in my living room.

Here's where to get my lovely little table, too!
