Bottega Veneta‘s spring ads are moody and cinematic–exactly what photographer Peter Lindbergh intended.

We love when designers give us a bit of a glimpse into their creative process, so this behind-the-scenes clip from the spring ad campaign shoot, narrated by Bottega Veneta’s creative director Tomas Maier, is a pleasure to watch. He says the shoot was “about individuality and confidence.” (Plus it will really make you want some of those chunky sandals and a fringed dress.)

Set on a deserted city street–which is actually at Universal Studios in LA–it features Freja Beha Erichsen looking determined, slightly disheveled, and thoroughly chic.
