We think 2013 will be the year that Dunham, who’s been a bit of an indie darling, will catapult into mainstream fame. The second season of her show, Girls, starts this month and a third is on the way; she recently nabbed a book deal; and she’s definitely been embraced by the fashion world (remember that time she attended the Met Ball with Hamish Bowles?), even if some of her red carpet choices have been controversial.
