No Makeup Makeup:

Most actresses usually go for the gusto with makeup for big award nights–eyeliner, lipstick, smoky eyes, false lashes. But many bucked the trend and went au natural–another nod to Spring 2013 runways. Giuliana Rancic even mentioned on-camera to Sienna Miller that it looked like she was wearing hardly any makeup.

How-To: Despite appearances, it actually takes a lot of makeup to look this natural. Amanda Seyfried, the face of Clé de Peau Beauté, needed 10 products to get her glowy look. We’re particularly partial to Anne Hathaway’s look, which makeup artist Kate Lee achieved with all Chanel (goes nicely with the Chanel dress). She told Allure that she used a makeup base followed by two different foundations. She used a Kevin Aucoin highlighting powder, then topped it off with a pale peach blush. She used a soft wash of grey lilac eyeshadow, no liner, then curled lashes and added mascara. No lipstick.
