Kate Moss has been killing it recently. She nabbed the Versace Spring 2013 campaign, released a book, covered Interview Russia, and got photobombed by a penis. Actually wait, we’re not sure if that last one is good or bad.
In any case, the latest coup for the 38-year-old supermodel is a spot in Givenchy’s Spring 2013 campaign–which marks the first time in Moss’s 25-year career that she has fronted the label.
For the ads, Riccardo Tisci decided to forgo models of the moment, and instead cast friends–though of course it’s handy when one of your pals is Kate Moss. Others featured in the campaign include artists Marina Abramovic and Jared Buckhiester and torero Jose Maria Manzanares as well as models Francisco Peralta and Mariacarla Boscono (and her adorable baby).
“It’s about family — something that is difficult to find in today’s world,” Tisci explained of the ads. “It’s about real people, only taking the best of their personalities, with no effort.”
And indeed, while Moss looks undeniably cool, she also looks completely like herself with minimal makeup and slightly mussed hair.
Along with the Moss ad, Givenchy has released a making-of video, which includes (among other things) Boscono playing with her adorable baby. Watch the behind-the-scenes video below.
