Even though Lauren Conrad is now a New York Times bestselling author, designer of two clothing lines, and a successful online entrepreneur (with two amazing editorial sites and an impressive social media following), she still comes off as being pretty accessible. Let's face it: We got to know her when she was crying over Ste-PHEN on Laguna Beach with perma-streams of mascara running down her face.
Well, it turns out nearly a decade later, Laguna Beach is still a sore spot for Conrad--and not just because of her tarnished teenage romance.
In her cover story for Lucky's March issue, she revealed, "I try to never look back at how I dressed in the first few seasons of Laguna Beach because it was pretty bad … head-to-toe bad. This past summer, MTV replayed every episode and I would always see it and be like, 'Ahh, noo!' I wore these capri denim pants a lot and they were so bad."
We only remember those flawless sidebraids and manis, but denim capris do sound pretty bad.
