These fashion collaborations are getting harder and harder to predict.

The latest partnership we never saw coming? Raf Simons–he of the sleek menswear and Dior couture–has teamed up with Adidas.

According to a press release we received, Simons designed a limited edition men’s sneaker range, which will debut at his Paris menswear presentation this week, and hit stores July 2013.

The collection includes a total of five models in three different colorways based on “signature Adidas high-end performance and running silhouettes.”

Hmm…now that we know Simons is open to collaborating with a mass retailer, could a Dior collaboration be in the near future? After all, Lanvin, Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney and Versace have already paved the way…
