10 Crosby Derek Lam Fall 2013: Lazy Sophistication

It's time for the 10 Crosby girl to get a little more sophisticated. For fall, wacky prints and unlikely color combos were replaced by cozy solids in subdued hues that, despite being part of Lam's lower-priced line, felt super luxurious (perhaps the result of this year's back to basics trend?).

Don't worry though--while the 10C girl has gotten her shit together a little more, she hasn't given up her desire to wear pajamas at all times. Drawstring shorts and matching tops in substantial fabrics were perhaps the most chic and presentable instance of pajama dressing we've seen since the trend started. Even cocktail dresses had a relaxed feel.

The real draw (and probably moneymaker) was the accessories. Pointy flat boots and oversized clutches were on-trend, but fresh. Boxy shoulder bags and shearling-lined boots made my personal wish list.
