12 Things We Want From HSN's Oz the Great and Powerful Collection

So a couple of weekends ago, I went on a press trip to Oz. In addition to attending a 3-D screening of Sam Raimi's Oz the Great and Powerful (which I highly recommend seeing--it's awesome) and sitting mere feet away from stars including James Franco and Michelle Williams at a press conference, I got to check out a selection of HSN's huge collection done in collaboration with Disney.

Full disclosure: A couple of weekends ago, I went on a press trip to Oz. Well, technically, it was Pasadena, but there was a yellow brick road and a gigantic hot air balloon, so that counts, right?

In addition to attending a 3-D screening of Sam Raimi's Oz the Great and Powerful (which I highly recommend seeing--it's awesome) and sitting mere feet away from stars including James Franco and Michelle Williams at a press conference, I got to check out a selection of HSN's huge collection done in collaboration with Disney. It's comprised of 400 items by 50 different brands including Michelle Obama favorite Naeem Khan, Badgley Mischka, and Urban Decay--much of which I actually wanted. Almost as much as I wanted to be Glinda from the movie. Seriously, Michelle Williams is like this sweet, perfect, beautiful fairy of Elle Fanning-level goodness and she talks like Audrey Hepburn.

Glinda the Good, along with less familiar witches Evanora and Theodora, serve as inspiration for the collection (i.e. certain items are inspired by Glinda, others fall under Evanora, etc.). They each have their own distinct look--Glinda's all white, pale pink and sparkles; Evanora is very glamorous and a little dark; and Theodora's a bit more modern, hip, and a little crazy.

From makeup to handbags to socks to fine jewelry, we found cute stuff inspired by all three. Click through for our faves. Some of it's available online and some (like the fancy Badgley Mischka and Adrienne Landau stuff) will be available from March 1 online and during a two-day Oz TV shopping event on HSN from March 1-2!
