A Look Back at Our Love/Hate Relationship With Fashion's Night Out

Turns out Fashion's Night Out is quite a divisive topic. Even in our own office, news of the event's hiatus drew mixed reactions. There were upset oh no!s, and emphatic thank gods. Here's everything we loved and hated about the annual FNO bacchanalia.

Turns out Fashion's Night Out is quite a divisive topic. Even in our own office, news of the event's hiatus drew mixed reactions. There were upset oh no!s, and emphatic thank gods.

Fashionista commenters also seem divided. Stephkornblum commented on our post:

"No surprise here. FNO in NYC is a disaster. So many drunk 15 year olds running around from store to store trying to get another free glass of Prosecco... and no one shops. It's a waste of time and money for retailers."

Another, Aspiring Socialite, wrote: "I'm devastated to hear [the event is cancelled.] Retailers already throw events all year, but FNO is special. How could this happen?"

Now that it's no longer happening this year, we though we'd take a look back on all the things we loved--and hated--about Fashion's Night Out. Yep, it's definitely a love/hate relationship.

Which camp do you fall into? Are you sad FNO's gone or do you say good riddance?
