MAC’s Alexis Page thinks lips is where the color will be, and face color will get more neutral.

Lips: Lip color last season on several runways was vivid with a matte finish. Expect this trend to get even stronger for fall. Page also thinks it’s an easy look for consumers to replicate.

Blush: While 80s style strong pink and coral colors have been mainstays, expect more neutral contouring this season. “Makeup artists will really be accenting the cheekbones, but using more tawny, tan, and nude type shades,” Page told us.

Embellishment: Crystal embellishment is more popular than ever, thanks to Pat McGrath and her work with Raf Simons for Dior. Page acknowledges that it’s a more couture look, but says makeup artists will carry fantasy eye lashes, glitter, and crystals to accommodate any request a designer dreams up.
