Shu Uemura, the cult Japanese cosmetics brand, has outdone itself with its latest limited edition product--Essence Absolue Nourishing Fragrance with Oil Pearls.

If you're at all familiar with the brand's Essence Absolue protective hair oil, you already know about the addictive camellia fragrance. Well, the brand has kicked it up a notch and turned it into a spray that functions as both a fragrance and a hair care product.

While the smell is amazing (and since it's on your head you smell it all day long), using it is even more fun. When it sits around for awhile it separates into this lava-lampy mixture, in which you can see the oil pearls. Before using it, you have to shake the bottle to make it emulsify, sort of like the chicest, best-smelling vinaigrette dressing ever. It gives your hair a bit of texture and shine, and it's the favorite part of my morning routine lately.

Get it here.
