Two-year old e-commerce site OfaKind.com sells limited edition jewelry, clothes and handbags created by some of the coolest young designers in New York and beyond. (Veda, Ernest Alexander and Hare + Hart are just a few of the labels.) As a result, founders Mazur and Cerulo have become unofficial scouters for bigger retailers—you’ll often see an “Of a Kind brand” get picked up by a national specialty store within months of being featured on the site.
