Today Miu Miu released “The Door,” the fifth film in their short film series “Women’s Tales,” featuring the brand’s spring 2013 collection.

Gabrielle Union stars as a very stylish heartbroken woman who is consoled by her friends (and a closet full of Miu Miu clothes) after the breakup of her marriage. The titular door is Union’s front door, through which her friends–played by Alfre Woodard, Emayatzy Corinealdi, and Adepero Oduye–drag her to various events in an effort to cheer her up. Singer-songwriter Goapele also appears.

In the end, Union is able to leave the house by herself, empowered by the love of her friends (and, again, amazing Miu Miu clothes–if you’re not jealous of her closet, you’re watching the wrong video!).

Directed by Ava DuVernay, the video is not only a stunning display of Miu Miu’s clothes, it’s a really touching story about friendship–impressive considering there’s no dialogue.
